The Cemetery Project Team is currently working on updating readings and photographing headstones in our Eaton County cemeteries.  (If you are interested in volunteering with this project, please send a request.) 

Our library has name indexes for the majority of our county cemeteries.  These indexes have burial and/or headstone information.  Please send a request if you find a name you would like more information on.

Indexes for several townships have been compiled into publications (click the Publications order form button) for purchase.  These include Brookfield, Chester, Kalamo, Roxand, Sunfield, Walton and Vermontville.  Maple Hill in Eaton township also has a publication. 
Indexes available for viewing on this site has the Index link for the cemetery in the Index column below.  Each index shows the date of the most recent reading.  Check back with this site as indexes will be added as they are completed.

Click the Information button for a cemetery to see additional information about the cemetery.  If there are headstone photos available for the cemetery, the Photos column shows 'Yes'.  Pictures of headstones are available to purchase for a printing, handling and postage fee.  Please send a request to find out if a person has a photo or photos available.  Some graves do not have a headstone or the stone is unreadable, and some have multiple photos.
